Pause Before You Play
An AI and Online Safety Adventure with Archie
Join Leo, Mom, and Archie as they explore the choices children can meet in games, apps, and everyday online life. From surprise purchase requests to answers that sound convincing, each moment offers a chance to pause and talk with a trusted adult.
Story scenes, coloring pages, and activities introduce ideas like protecting private information, checking AI answers, and asking for help when something feels wrong. A parent guide helps adults keep the conversation going.

Small pauses. Useful conversations.
The story gives families a place to begin talking about everyday online choices.
Before you share
Explore what information should stay private and when to ask a trusted adult for help.
Before you believe
Discuss why an AI answer, a message, an image, or even a familiar-sounding voice may need checking.
Beyond the screen
Make room for kindness, breaks, and conversations about how online experiences feel.
Make it a conversation you share.
You do not need to be an AI expert to sit down together and start asking questions.
-
Read a little.
Follow a scene with Leo, Mom, and Archie. Take your time and let your child ask questions.
-
Talk it through.
Try asking, "What would you do next?" or "Who could help you check that?"
-
Color and explore.
Let the coloring and activities keep the conversation relaxed and give your child room to think.
The book is designed to share with a caring adult. No live AI account, chatbot, photo upload, or personal information is needed to complete the activities.
